Sauvignon Blanc 2010

France » Loire Valley » Attitude by Pascal Jolivet » Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Summary

Made with the same attention to detail as Jolivet’s great Sancerres, this wine is made from grapes grown outside the appellation. The wine offers expressive floral and fruit aromas, freshness and minerality in the mouth. This is textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire.

Attitude Sauvignon Blanc is produced from an estate owned single vineyard within the appellation of Chevery located to the west of Sancerre.

Vintage Notes

The 2010 Attitude Sauvignon Blanc is a brilliant, pale straw gold color with a translucent rim. The wine is fresh, clean and youthful with delicate nuances of lime, grapefruit, green apple and kiwi. On the palate it has a soft entry leading to a polished, supple texture with gentle, well integrated acidity; medium bodied with lingering citrus-apple aromatic notes in the finish.

Very true to Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Attitude is fresh, stylish and very easy to drink by itself or with cold shellfish; delicate seafood such as crab, cod or sole; subtle preparations of chicken breasts or veal.

"More fragrant than herbaceous, this is a rounded, creamy wine. It has creamed pear, apricot and ripe lime flavors to go with the smooth texture and finish."
