"Liante" is the "wind of the Levant" which gusts throughout the Adriatic region.
Terroir: Negramaro and Malvasia Nera di Lecce are sourced from estate vineyards surrounding the 16th century winery.
Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested before dawn to avoid exposure to the hot sun. The Negroamaro ripens first; typically in early September, followed by the Malvasia up to two weeks later. The grapes are macerated and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks follow by 6 months in the cellar where 25% the wine will rest in French oak and the remainder in stainless steel. 50,000 bottles produced.

With intense, complex aromas of wild cherry conserve, dried plums, chocolate and vanilla, the wine shows powerful, ripe dark fruit and spices on the palate, with a pleasant finish. The wine is a great match with spicy foods like Fra Diavolo sauce.
