"Liante" is the "wind of the Levant" which gusts throughout the Adriatic region.
Terroir: Negramaro and Malvasia Nera di Lecce are sourced from estate vineyards surrounding the 16th century winery.
Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested before dawn to avoid exposure to the hot sun. The Negroamaro ripens first; typically in early September, followed by the Malvasia up to two weeks later. The grapes are macerated and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks follow by 6 months in the cellar where 25% the wine will rest in French oak and the remainder in stainless steel. 50,000 bottles produced.

"Bright, brambly berry and forest floor notes open this bouquet of this 80-20 Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera blend. Touches of cherry and sun-ripened prune also make an appearance, especially on the finish."
