"Sharp and lightly herbal, this red offers currant flavors that veer toward notes of cranberry, accented by vanilla and sandalwood hints. Taut and linear, this will need time to unwind. Focused and long. Best from 2016 through 2025."
This is just as ripe though with less evident exoticism even though there is a trace of pineapple lurking in the background of the otherwise fresh and cool aromas of pear and wet stone. There is excellent vibrancy to the noticeably mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that offer very good intensity on the racy, long and bone dry finish. Lovely and fashioned in an understated style.
