Additional Information

Pale color. Aromas of peach, pineapple, flowers and rocks. Supple and intense but light on its feet; more complex and energetic than the preceding samples. Very suave, silky wine with lovely ripeness and length. I underrated this last year. 91 pts. -Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Sept.-Oct. 2008

The Prieur 2006 Beaune Champs Pimont is altogether more complex, sensually satisfying, and authoritative than this years Clos de la Feguine Smelling of yellow plum, lemon, white truffle, white peach, and chalk dust, it offers soothing, creamy, mouth-coating persistence allied to refreshing brightness, and an alluring dynamic of fruit and stony minerality. This rich, nuanced wine should be worth following for at least 4-6years in bottle.
