"Bright, moderately saturated medium red. Cherry, redcurrant and a whiff of underbrush on the nose; less floral than the Clos de Mazeray. Smooth and silky in the mouth, showing more flesh but a bit less lift than the Clos de Mazeray. Has more stuffing to support its faint herbal element on the finish. Should make a solid Beaune wine."
