Terroir: The large 123 acre vineyard of Clos de Vougeot is one of the most famous terroirs in all of Burgundy. Because of it's vast size, this walled vineyard holds many micro-climates with many grade and soil variations.
Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested, strictly sorted and destemmed. The must will sit on the skins for 24 hours prior to fermentation. The wine ages for 17 months of in oak barrels deep in the cellars of Domaine Jacques Prieur.
This wine has extremely limited availability in both 750ml and 1.5l. Please consult your local FWS rep for availability.

Superb aromas of rose, black currant, graphite and spice mark this supple red. The black currant, cherry and strawberry flavors are pure and expressive, supported by a dense base of tannins. Fresh and long, with a mouthwatering finish. Best from 2022 through 2045.
