"Exotic aromas of dried fruits, clove, menthol and medicinal herbs. Thick and solid, but with powerful penetrating acidity that excites the taste buds. This impressively stony, tactile, intense wine is hard to scrape off the palate but is likely to need extended aging to harmonize."

"A very backward and almost painfully primary nose only grudgingly gives up aromas of spice, acacia blossom and mildly exotic ripe yellow fruits that complement perfectly the rich and opulent broad-shouldered flavors that possess impressive reserves of dry extract plus astounding length. A 'wow' wine but note well that ample patience will be required."
