Domaine Jacques Prieur

Terroir: This 6 acre walled vineyard in the heart of Meursault is a monopole for Domaine Jacques Prieur. The vineyard sits in a rather flat position with rich clay soils covering what was once a riverbed.

Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested, strictly sorted and destemmed. The must will sit on the skins for 12 hours to fermentation. The wine ages for 19 months of in oak barrels deep in the cellars of Domaine Jacques Prieur.

    A juicy, floral version, with support from lemon and apple fruit. On the light side for the vintage, but persists with moderate length. Drink now through 2020.
