"Bright straw. Subtle aromas of pear, white flowers and mint. Juicy and lively in the mouth, with vibrant flavors of orchard fruits, lemon, white pepper and spice. Offers good clarity but comes up a bit short on the brisk, dry finish. This drinks very easily."
"Hot damn! Bearing more than a passing resemblance to a modern Sauvignon Blanc, this Rioja (made from Viura grapes) is a mouthful of crisp, zesty fun. Definitely a lighter-bodied wine, its acids keep it dry without biting. Drink on a hot evening or on a day escaped from the office. Very pleasing bargain."

"Pulpy and also minerally on the nose, with basic white fruit aromas. Zesty, crisp and defined by slate and lime in the mouth, with apple, lime and dryness to the flavor profile. A composed little white wine for simple sipping or white sangria."
"The leading brand in Spain, El Coto de Rioja's first bottling was released in 1975. A great value at only $10, this blend of 100% Viura grapes is a refreshing and delicious choice on a hot summer day. Fruity but not too sweet with a sophisticated hint of tartness, El Coto do Rioja Blanco is a crowd-pleaser."
"Carmelized aroma with a touch of pear; very juicy and fruity with undercurrents of mango, papaya and pineapple."
"I tasted sharp pear on the nose even light lemon peel zest across my tongue making it perfect for fresh seafood dishes. Dry on the first impression but soon develops into a much richer warmer flavor experience than Chardonnay. With an ever so slight chalky mouth feel, this light fruity wine is the further you can get from heavy or burdensome. Blossoms into an ebullient flavor bomb with cheeses, especially Gruyere."
