About

Made from 100% Albariño grapes from the Salnés Valley – a combination of fruit collected from our own vineyards, and fruit purchased from some of the very best local growers (many have been supplying our bodega for up to 30 years). The vines used for making this wine have an average age of between 20 and 40 years, and produce a fruity, well-rounded wine that serves as the perfect introduction to albariño.

Terroir

Rias Baixas, Spain

Vinification

Our grapes are harvested entirely by hand and undergo a short, gentle pressing in pneumatic presses. Wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control and after lees ageing are cold-stabilised and then only lightly filtered to retain maximum varietal character.

Tasting Notes

A clean and intensely fresh wine that exhibits all the typical characteristics of the Albarino grape variety. Ripe and aromatic, with overtones of peach, melon and honey, offset by a crisp tangy acidity that helps to balance the rich flavors. A well-rounded wine with a long, mellow, honeyed finish.

Food Pairing

It pairs well with tuna burgers, pan-seared groupers and salads. Aperitif, appetizers, seafood, spicy cuisine
