About

Vina Del Pedregal family has been making wines since 1825 and in 1978 Alberto del Pedregal Aldunate created Carta Vieja. It has a long tradition; more than 42 years, which over time has been able to reinvent itself, as a timeless blend that brings tradition to the present.

Terroir

The soil is alluvial with a sandy loam texture, with a high percentage of stones, excellent drainage, and no limitations for root growth.

Vinification

No barrel, aging in stainless steel tanks

Tasting Notes

Yellow pale with green notes, bright. Intense aroma of pineapple, grapefruit with slight herbaceous, anise and asparagus notes. Complex on the palate, with mandarin orange notes and some mineral-like supported in a vibrant and fresh acidity that carries a pleasant and refreshing finish.

Food Pairing

General: white fish, seafood without heavy sauces, salads, poultry. ​ Specific: Risotto caprese, shrimp cocktail, fish & chips or fish tacos, Thai food, grilled chicken, goat cheese, sashimi, green salads.
