"The 2018 Beaune Clos de la Féguine 1er Cru is completely de-stemmed and matured in 25% new oak. It has an attractive bouquet, a mixture of red and black fruit plus a little earthiness coming through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins and quite sturdy. The grippy finish suggests that three or four years in bottle will do this no harm. Fine."
