Terroir: Situated 125 miles south of Paris, the Sancerre landscape undulates at an altitude between 650 and 1,300 feet. The Loire River on the Eastern side of the hilly environment creates a relatively temperate microclimate for the wines. Sourced from a 1 hectare parcel located in the village of Crézancy-en-Sancerre. Soils here are calcareous and limestone.
Vinification: Grapes are hand-picked and fermented in temperature controlled tanks, followed by an extended 12 month aging on the lees.
Lemon yellow in color with exceptional aromas full of apricots as well as hints of toast and herbs. The mouth is round, complex and very mineral with mango, grapefruit and a pleasant salinity on the palate with a long, mineral finish.
