Famille Vincent

About

Famille Vincent

Famille Vincent produces a range of wines made with the same care and expertise as those made at the Vincent’s historic domaine, Château Fuissé. Made primarily from grapes sourced from Mâconnais vineyards in the South of Burgundy that are owned by members of the Vincent family, these wines are of extremely high quality and represent remarkable value. Famille Vincent wines are both lovely and approachable wines for immediate consumption and a great introduction to the Château Fuissé range of acclaimed wines.

Agriculture

Strong environmental choices: manual harvests, cultivation respecting biodiversity, harmony in work. We have to listen to the world around us and adapt our methods to the constraints of the area. With 100 separate plots, there is no magic formula.

The Winemaker

Antoine Vincent

Antoine Vincent is the fifth generation of his family to manage the prestigious Chateau de Fuissé, one of the most important estates in the Maconnais region of Burgundy.

Born in 1975, Antoine studied oenology and winemaking in the Loire Valley (the city of Angers) and in Toulouse. He has made wines in many regions of France notably the Loire, Alsace and, of course, Burgundy at his family’s estate.

In 2002, Antoine took over general management of his family’s properties and wineries in Fuissé (the Chateau Fuissé and the Vincent winery) and in Beaujolais (Domaine de la Conseillère).
