The Hecht Bannier Bandol is a rosé for fall and winter, based on nearly 60% of Mourvedre, the wine is complex, with more structure than a traditional rosé in Provence. This is a wine of great, even exquisite, finesse which, unlike many rose wines, will age beautifully in bottle. Young, the wine offers the aroma and flavor of blood orange and dried apricot. With bottle age, after five years, the wine will gain in richness, power and depth.
Terroir: Sourced from Mourvedre grown in the finest, coolest and latest-ripening sites of the Bandol appellation.
Intense and aromatic, the wine offers the aroma and flavor of blood orange, grapefruit and dried apricot. It brings volume, roundness and freshness to the palate. With bottle age, after five years, the wine will gain in richness, power and depth.
