About
Michel Torino
The Michel Torino range of wines from Bodega El Esteco, come from the high altitude vineyards of the Calchaqui Valley, located in northwest province of Salta. With vineyards starting at 5,500 feet above sea level and rising to over 6,600 feet, Michel Torino’s wines are unique expressions of the region. In the year 1860, French immigrant David Michel married Gabriela Torino to form the Michel Torino Family. 32 years later, David Michel, pioneer in planting quality vines in the high altitude vineyards of the Calchaquí Valley and convinced that this remote and exquisite region had the potential to deliver unique wines, created the Michel Torino brand. Since then, this brand has achieved consistent growth worldwide, attaining distribution in more than 40 countries around the globe.
