Blanc de Blancs is a prestigious cuvee, which perfectly embodies the character and excellence of the Monogram style. It’s characterized by an ideal balance of delicate, elegant nose and rich, complex, concentrated palate.

Terroir

Morainic hills composed of vine-clad terraces and gravelly, well-drained soils that are rich in micro- and meso-mineral content, amassed over three major geological periods. The moderating maritime influence from both the lake and river, along with mountains that both cool and protect the territory completes the ideal conditions for the production of high-quality wines.

Vinification

Produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes, harvested by hand towards the end of August. After a soft pressing, the free-run must undergoes a primary cold fermentation process in stainless steel tanks; the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, after the addition of yeast and the periodical riddling. After disgorgement, the wine is aged for 24 months in the bottle prior to release.

Tasting Notes

The scent carries intense fresh fruit and citrus fruit aromas. The color is straw-gold with green reflexes, abundant mousse with a refined and persistent perlage. The flavor is rich, balanced and mellow, with strong sapidity and freshness.

This is a soothingly round and mineral-inflected effort with depths of savory white pit fruits offset by sour citrus. It finishes fresh yet a bit short, leaving a salty flourish.
