Vinification

The harvest is 100% manual. The pressing is fractional, (prunings are separated and eliminated). The wines are vinified in thermoregulated stainless-steel vats and oak barrels. 10% of reserve wine went into this cuvée.

Tasting Notes

Expressive and generous Champagne as produced by the Cru. Open nose with notes of candied fruit, lime and iodine representative of the chalky soils of Oger. Its mouth, structured, broad and powerful, still evokes citrus fruits. The very saline finish adds extra length to this very charming wine.

Pretty jasmine and cardamom aromatics lace Asian pear, persimmon, grapefruit pith and crushed hazelnut flavors on the broad and creamy palate. Offers a voluptuous feel reined in nicely by racy acidity, while a chalky underpinning emerges on the finish. Disgorged October 2023. Drink now through 2029.

Sourced entirely in the village of Oger and based on the 2020 vintage complemented with only 10% vins de réserve, the NV Oger 20 3.0 displays aromas of lemon oil, confit citrus, blossom, iodine, chalk and salty soils. Medium to full-bodied, round and seamless, with a layered, delicate core of fruit, it's built around bright acids and has a vibrant, long, salty finish. Disgorged on October 23, 2023, with three grams per liter of dosage, it was matured for 31 months on the lees in bottle. Keep it for a decade or more.
