Terroir

Selected parcels in Trentino and the Veneto on the hills along the valley of the Adige (average 200m altitude); this vine variety has always been cultivated in the Veneto but only in the past few years has its value been particularly enhanced by selecting clones which produce richer grapes greatly reducing the production per vine.

Vinification

Following the worldwide success of the merlot grape, the vinification has been the subject of special new treatment. The vinification is careful completed by the malolactic fermentation and by the addition of part of the wine aged in barriques.
