Lamberti

About

Lamberti

Lamberti is named after one of Verona’s oldest noble families, which has its own famous tower in the city’s Piazza delle Erbe. The winery was founded in 1964 in Cavaion (province of Verona), originally producing just Bardolino Classico. Now Lamberti is one of the Verona district’s leading wineries and is known worldwide. The original cellars are located in Cavaion (province of Verona), on Lake Garda, on the Tenuta Preella estate, whose name means “small stone” in local dialect.

Winemaker

Maricarmen Navas

Her Spanish origins have endowed her with the determination and tenacity typical of the Iberian people, essential elements in her profession as a winemaker. After earning degrees in biology and oenology, and gaining experience in Spanish wineries, she joined the Italian Wine Group, focusing on winemaking in the Verona province. She was subsequently involved in the oenological renewal project at the Melini winery in Tuscany and later joined the oenological team at the Bolla winery in Pedemonte until 2016 when she took on the role of winemaker at Lamberti. Her modern and internationally conscious approach to taste makes her the perfect interpreter of the wines from this young and innovative winery.
