About
Michel Torino is a project born with the objective of developing an agriculture and winemaking activity in harmony with the environment, culture and society.
Terroir
Sourced entirely from estate vineyards high in Argentina’s northwest Andes. This extreme elevation lends itself perfectly to organic viticulture. Hot days, cool nights, lack of rainfall and a dry shallow soil allow for minimal human interference to the natural growth cycle of the vines.
Vinification
Each wine in the Coleccion range presents the true character of the varietal. The wines are produced in a young, juicy style with minimal oak influence and just 5 months of aging in the cellar prior to bottling and release.
Tasting Notes
This Malbec has elegant and pronounced varietal characters. The wine shows distinct plum aromas, with cherry, rosemary and chocolate notes. With sweet fruit and fi rm tannins, the wine has cassis, vanilla and spiced, dark berry fruit on the palate, with a long fi nish. Pair this with hearty meats and strong flavored dishes.
Food Pairing
Pairs perfectly with blue cheese, salami, chorizo, chimichurri, guacamole, salsa verde, provoleta and sweet potato.
