About

“GROSSI LAÜE” (great terroirs in the Alsatian dialect). These wines are a true return to the cultural and timeless values of the family with a deep anchoring in its historical terroirs. This wine is constantly progressing as the small plots that we have been planting since the 90s.

Terroir

This wine has at its heart a plot acquired in 1985 and planted in 1966 in the place called Pflostig, a terroir close to those of greater Burgundy. Yields of around 35 hl/ha and degrees above 14°.

Vinification

Grapes destemmed and vatting for approximately 2 weeks with manual punching down for better extraction. Aging then takes place after malo for almost 10 months in small, partially renewed oak barrels.
The wine remains in pieces all winter where the wine clarifies naturally without artificial cold treatment. Light filtration respectful of the wine before bottling in spring then aging in bottles in our cellars until it is put on sale.
