About
Based in Savigny-les-Beaune, this 47-hectare property is controlled and operated by Antonin’s son Dominique and his granddaughter Hombeline. Passionate, Dominique and Hombeline are always looking for better quality and terroir expression. Dominique created a model winery, producing wines of impeccable quality from 25+ different appellations, including some of the most renowned villages of the Côte d’Or.
Terroir
Aloxe-Corton is a little village, located in the Northern part of the Côte de Beaune. Its wine-area benefits from exposures ranging from East to South and Southwest. Domaine Guyon holds 0.70 hectare (1.73 acres) of Aloxe Corton 1er Cru Les.
Vinification
Hand-harvested, the grapes are then carried in small boxes and sorted upon arrival at the cellar. Long fermentation during 20 days in wooden open vats, with treading and temperature control. Ageing is 18 months in French oak barrels (1/3 new oak).
