About

The Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils is settled in the heart of Chablis since 2001, near by the Grands Crus, in very functional and modern facilities: an entirely air-conditioned 1500 m2 place gathering all the vineyard equipment, fermenting room, bottling, labeling and wine storage. The Domaine also has an old 17th century vault in the center of Chablis, «la Grange aux Dîmes”. The logo representing the Statue of Saint Martin can be seen in front of the church facing our “Grange”.

Terroir

The grapes come from two bordering villages: Fontenay-PresChablis and Beru. The soils are clay and limestone from the kimmeridgien

Vinification

Grape selection is done on a sorting table. Cold settling and fermentation with a temperature of around 20°c. 100% in regulated stainless steel tanks. Aging from 10 to 12 months.

Wine Spectator

Verging on pineapple and dried apricot flavors, this Chablis is ripe and open, with a light tactile feel. Round and inviting, with peach, citrus and stone accents on the moderately long finish. Drink now through 2028.
