"Our vineyards are harvested at night between 3.00am and 9.00am in order to avoid oxidation and to preserve all of the fresh characteristics of vineyard and varietal. And it is our personal decision to avoid excessive maceration and extraction leading to wines that are at once concentrated but not opaque. Grenache and Syrah are macerated together so that their personalities and qualities intermingle and we find that the reductive character of Syrah balances beautifully with the floral and sunny character, not to say oxidative, of Grenache.
For our Cotes de Provence rose we take a path quite apart from the one we follow for our Languedoc rose, with its high proportion of Syrah. We have sought a Provence rose of immense charm and minerality redolent of dried herbs and mountain flowers." -Gregory Hecht

Wildman Wholesale
Frederick Wildman & Sons - Wholesale Company was established with the inception of the Company in 1934. Its’ origins date back to the year after the repeal of prohibition and was created to support the portfolio of top estates from around the world in the New York metro area.
The strategy for the division remained intact throughout the 1900’s.With a new management structure in place, in 2005, the company expanded the Wholesale base of operations to Upstate New York and New Jersey.
