Pol Roger only produces the Brut Rosé in vintage years. The wine is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay vinified blanc from 20 1er and Grand Crus in the Montagne de Reims and Cote des Blancs regions. The remaining 15% is Pinot Noir that has been vinified "en rouge" and then added to the final blend prior to the second fermentation.
Vinification: The unblended juice undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a cool 43°f. Each variety, village and vineyard are always fermented and cellared separately until final blending. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle deep in the cellars of Pol Roger, where it is kept until final blending.
The Vintage Brut is typically a delicate rosé, soft pink in color and driven by red fruit.
A deep salmon pink color with a fine stream of small bubbles. The nose has aromas of ripe fruits with elements of citrus fruits (blood orange), pomegranate and small wild red berries. On the palate, a deep mineral character fine, creamy ripeness and a hint of vanilla. The wine is tender and smooth with a balance of delicate freshness and refined elegance. A discreet vinosity with a clean and precise finish.

"The salmon color of the 2006 Ros Brut with its pink and orange reflections is already magic and most probably unique. And then comes the nose: less subtle and discreet, but fine and elegant, deep, ripe and fleshy, with raw meat, nougat and licorice flavors intermingled with pure red berry (currant) and cherry aromas. Can you imagine this Ros is based on the Rserve Brut (60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay)? It is, but before the bottling and second fermentation, approximately 15% of still red wine (Pinot Noir) from the crus of the Montagne de Reims is added. This extraordinary Ros Champagne is produced only in limited quantities and has been aged seven years before its release. Medium to full-bodied, smooth and fruit intense on the palate, this is another highly elegant and perfectly balanced Pol Roger fizz with a beautiful Pinot perfume in the finish. This is very sensual though complex Champagne that covers your tongue with pink silk. If you don't mind, I'd prefer to call this an excitingly erotic Champagne that I would love to drink on its own, but in any case not alone. "
"All Pol Rogers cuves show balance and integrity theres always more going on in the glass than one might expect from the first taste. This is especially true with the 2006 ros it has a captivating floral aroma, yet is dry on the tongue, then, with the second glass, beguiling red-fruit flavors emerge mingled with suggestions of the regions limestone minerality. A lot more than just another pretty pink Champagne."
"A touch of red fruit and a hint of gaminess, but a well-defined and structured wine that is bearing its age well elegance with a purpose"

"Bright orange-pink. Displays intense aromas of fresh red berries, orange pith, buttered toast and smoky minerals, with a suave floral nuance in the background. Fleshy and seamless on the palate, offering sappy strawberry and blood orange flavors that expand and gain sweetness with air. Closes spicy, smoky and long, with excellent clarity and no rough edges."

"Bright, with vibrant acidity and a lively, lightly creamy mousse framing prettily spiced flavors of wild cherry, damson plum, pastry, candied ginger and blood orange granita. Offers a persistent, spiced finish. Drink now through 2016."
