"From young vines in Chambertin, this is big and generous, showing the richness of the year as well as its depth of fruit. Firm tannins help to give the wine shape."

"(from Chambertin vines less than 20 years of age). Strong reduction compromises the nose at present but there is an admirable sophistication to the velvety and refined mouth feel that is dominated by an almost aggressive minerality on the cool and moderately austere but persistent finish. Worth a look."
