Terroir: Jaboulet Crozes Hermitage Rouge Les Jalets is sourced from vineyards located primarily on the plains of the appellation. Vines average 25 years old and yields are low.

Vinification: Les Jalets Rouge is 100% Syrah vinified in stainless steel at very cool temperatures. Following fermentation the wine is in stainless steel and neutral oak for 6 months prior to bottling.

Vintage Notes

This Crozes typically shows classic syrah aromas, vivid red and dark fruit scents, violet, anise and cracked pepper. Supple raspberry and dark cherry flavors are supported by gentle minerality and firmed by dusty tannins. Has silky texture and a long finish.
